Guardian Pharmacy, LLC is an Atlanta-based institutional and specialty pharmacy company with a true focus on service and patient care.  Guardian Pharmacy serves long term care patients residing in Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities, offering specialty packaging solutions, delivery and consulting/formulary management for the residents in the homes.  Additionally, Guardian Pharmacy serves other specialty patients with specialized pharmacy services such as fertility and behavioral-health medications.

Founded in 2003, Guardian Pharmacy is capitalized by the company’s management team and two private equity groups, Bindley Capital Partners and Cardinal Ventures.  The management team has extensive experience and success in high-growth, multiple-location specialty pharmacies.

We believe that pharmacies should provide service tailored to the needs of the local market customers.  Thus, the corporate philosophy is for each pharmacy to operate as an autonomous business.  Guardian Support Services Center is a support center for these local autonomous pharmacies, providing assistance with routine business needs such as payroll, accounting, business insurance, human resources and other administrative functions, thus freeing the local presidents for greater focus on meeting the customers’ needs.

Guardian Pharmacy’s growth plan is to add 3-4 pharmacies per year via merger and “greenfield” start-ups.
