To qualify, companies must be privately held; headquartered in the 20-county metro Atlanta area; have 2007 revenue of $1 million to $300 million and register more than 50 percent growth in sales for the last year. Companies are ranked by a growth index formula. Factors include the percent change in revenue and number of employees from 2005 through 2007.  Employee growth is weighted 40 percent and revenue is weighted 60 percent.

RE:                 Waltz Long Term Care Pharmacy

It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Waltz Long Term Care Pharmacy to Guardian's growing network of pharmacies.

Waltz Long Term Care Pharmacy is located in Topsham, Maine, just north of Portland.  Dean Jacobs, R.Ph. is the president of the pharmacy, which has been providing long term care pharmacy services to southeastern Maine for over five years.  Courtney Oland, R.Ph. is the pharmacy director.  We look forward to working with the Waltz team to expand in Maine.

RE:                 Winyah Pharmacy Solutions

We are pleased to announce the addition of Winyah Pharmacy Solutions to our team of pharmacies.

 Winyah Pharmacy Solutions (WPS) is located in Georgetown, SC, between Charleston and Myrtle Beach, SC.  Gary Cooper, President, and his sister, Christy Cooper Whitlock, R.Ph, are the founders of WPS, which has been providing outstanding customer service along the South Carolina coast for several years.

Gary, Christy, and Heather Sharpe, PharmD, have worked in long term care and specialty pharmacy services for almost twenty years.  Gary and Christy’s father, Charles Cooper, R.Ph., opened the first long term care pharmacy in South Carolina in 1967.  The current Winyah team continues the excellent reputation developed by the Cooper family, serving the assisted living and skilled nursing community.  We look forward to working together in other South Carolina opportunities.
